Role Summary
- The technical assistant position presents an exciting opportunity to join the GE Healthcare (GEHC) Africa team supporting both regional (West & Central Africa) and modality (Primary & Referral Care)-focused efforts.
- This role provides the opportunity to fully develop your interest and talents in program execution and commercial development with the potential for further career development.
Essential Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for logistics note-taking for internal and external meetings, events and engagements with team members, private entities, public ministries,
- departments and agencies and other industry role players
- Take responsibility to co-organize and co-execute marketing, public-relations and program events and initiatives
- Perform additional assignments and responsibilities as assigned by Program Manager and Hiring Manager
- Be willing to learn the GEHC Inquiry to Order and Order to Remittance processes
- Follow standard operating procedures aligned to business playbooks including P&RC Program Management and West & Central Africa-focused business

- Be willing to take trainings as required and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and
- applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
- Provide back office support to implement healthcare programs; includes executing, organizing, reporting, archiving, analyzing, collating, calculating and drafting
- deliverables, tools and processes
- Provide back office support to commercially develop business opportunities: includes MOU, concept notes and proposal generation, costing, pricing, and
- drafting presentations
- Follow and comply with existing GE Healthcare EHS rules and procedures
- Identify and report all customer or personal compliance concerns immediately to the appropriate organization
Qualifications/Requirements
- Verified posting/call up letter to Lagos
- Verified posting by NYSC to GE and completion of the mandatory 3 weeks orientation camp
- A graduate, preferably with a Science Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) background
- Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of not less than 3.5 (Second Class Upper)
- Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
- Ability to learn quickly, take initiative, work within timelines and respond to customer needs in a fast-paced and stimulating environment
- Passion for healthcare is an added advantage
- Completion of 1-year compulsory internship
- Skilled with use of Microsoft Office
- Previous internship experience in a matrixed and multi-national company or organization is advantageous
- In Nigeria: a valid NYSC discharge or exemption certificate will be required (please indicate clearly on your resume)
- In Nigeria: must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in Nigeria
- In countries other than Nigeria: must have valid authorization to work full-time without any restriction in the role’s location.
