NDLEA Cracks Down on Drug Trafficking and Abuse in Nigeria

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) arrested 60 suspects, including 25 males and 35 females, at a drug party organized by Stanley Ikechukwu in Abuja's Sun City estate. At least six suspects were found with ecstasy and cannabis. The NDLEA also intercepted 6,125 cartons of codeine syrup worth over N7.3 billion at the Port Harcourt Ports complex. Additionally, the agency raided a deep forest in Ugun, Igueben LGA, Edo State, where they arrested four suspects and destroyed 18,632.22 kg of cannabis.
