Lanre Teriba Biography
Olanrewaju Nigerian gospel artist, singer, composer, and clergyman Michael Afolabi Teriba is better known by his stage name Lanre Teriba (Atorise). After his debut album Atorise was released in 2000, he shot to fame. On May 13, Lanre Teriba was born in Ogun State to the late Prophetess Mrs. Hannah Atinuke Teriba and Pa. Late Samuel Oladimeji Awomosu Teriba.
Lanre Teriba went to Estate Grammar School in Oshodi, Lagos, and Christ Center Primary School in Ilupeju, Lagos. He studied accounting at Federal Polytechnic, Offa in Kwara State. Musician Lanre Teriba has talent. While still in school, he belonged to the socio-cultural Kegite Club. After graduating, Lanre Teriba attempted to find employment but was unsuccessful. In 1998, he began to pursue a career as a gospel musician. He met Tunde Olokodana, a music promoter, during that time. Olokodana.
