Nigerian Universities Diploma Scholarship Programme.

This scholarship is available to students of all nationalities who are enrolled in a diploma programme at any Nigerian University.

To qualify for this scholarship, you must be an indigenious citizen of Nigeria and have been admitted into a Diploma programme at any Nigerian University.

The scholarship amount is N120,000 per year which will be paid into your bank account on or before the first week of September each year if you do not withdraw from the school before that time.

The Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria (SPDC) Scholarship Scheme is a competitive scholarship scheme for Nigerian and international students who want to pursue graduate studies at SPDC affiliated universities. The scheme seeks to encourage outstanding candidates who have a passion for excellence in academics and seek the opportunities available in Nigeria’s oil and gas industry to pursue further education.

TETFUND Postgraduate Abroad Scholarship

The TETFUND Postgraduate Abroad Scholarship is sponsored by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund). This is a scholarship program that was launched in 2016 to enable Nigerian students pursue post-graduate studies in reputable foreign institutions. The scholarship covers tuition fee as well as monthly stipend of N60,000 (about $300) while they are studying abroad.

The Zenith Bank 100 Year National Essay Competition

The Zenith Bank 100 Year National Essay Competition is designed to promote the study of history and culture among secondary school students in Nigeria. The theme of this year’s competition is “Nigeria at 100: A Dream Deferred”.

This annual competition challenges young minds to explore Nigeria’s cultural heritage, achievements and challenges. This year it will be organised by Zenith Bank Plc in partnership with Nigerian History Society (NHS), NIMASA, CHILDHOOD AND YOUTH PROGRAMME (CYP).

The essay must be typed and double-spaced on A4 size paper with 1 cm margins on all sides; maximum length 3,000 words excluding footnotes; title page should include name, age group category (Junior Secondary Schools or Senior Secondary Schools) contact details of author(s)/candidate(s) including email address where applicable.
